LPG subsidy increased from nine to 12 cylinders

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi appealed to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to increase the LPG subsidy from nine to 12 cylinders at the AICC meet.
In a short span of time, the Oil Ministry has taken steps to increase LPG subsidy from nine to 12 cylinders.
The decision to lower LPG cylinder cap was taken exactly one year back on January 17, 2013.
