Isolated light to moderate rain may occur over South Tamil Nadu and mainly fair weather will prevail over North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Isolated rainfall occurred over South Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over North Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Karnataka. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres at Rameswaram and Pamban (both Ramanathapuram dt) 1 each.
