Exorbitant hike in flight ticket due to Pongal festival

As it is festival season due to Pongal celebrations, all train and bus tickets are completely sold out. In addition, the flight tickets are also completely grabbed. The last few air tickets that were available were charged exorbitantly. To say, Jet Airway’s flight ticket to Delhi on Monday was quoted more than thirty nine thousand. Other airlines like Spicejet and indigo charged anywhere near eleven thousand.
People who made an advance booking enjoyed the fare at Rs 7000, whereas the last minute ticket bookers are cornered to buy high priced ones.
