Sports/Cultural meet for Officers and their families of Southern Railway

The Southern Railway Officers’ Association and Promotee Officers’ Association (SROA/SRPOA) are jointly conducting a Sports and Cultural meet “Indra Dhanush” for the Officers and their families of Southern Railway will be participating in various events. Nearly 300 persons comprising six teams from the Southern Railway Divisions and two teams from Southern Railway Headquarters will be competing in the three day event.This event is increasingly becoming popular as an occasion to bring together officers and their families in a spirit of friendly competition. This year’s event is the fourth in a row.
“Indra Dhanush” was inaugurated by the President Southern Railway Womens Welfare Organisation, Mrs. Manjula Misra, today (11.01.2014).The main highlights of the events will be cultural programmes, indoor games.Celebration will culminate in a unique cultural programme presented by the winners of the tournament.The Award Ceremony will take place on 13th January 2013.
