Extra shows for Pongal

The Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners’ Association has announced that the theatres have been permitted to screen one extra show from January 10th to 16th to tackle the Pongal rush. Following this announcement, the theatres will be allowed to screen five shows on these days.
As per a statement from the Tamil Nadu government, the concerned theatres must inform the collectors in their districts and the entertainment tax officials about the special shows.
