India International Seafood show inaugurated

Marine Products Export Development Authority has organized the 19th edition of the India International Seafood show at the Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam.
The three-day show is organised once in two years and in 2010 nearly 160 stalls were put up and it rose to 210 in 2012 and in the current edition the number of stalls had risen to 355.The show organised jointly by the MPEDA and the Seafood Exporters Association of India, has separate sections for exporters from the USA, Japan, Denmark, Europe, Germany and Norway. Of the total area in the show 40 per cent of the stalls were taken over by the foreign companies.
