Tamil Nadu State Government allots 74 lakh to procure tablet

The state government has sanctioned Rs 74 lakh to procure cyclosporine, prescribed for patients post kidney transplant. The tablet prevents the body from rejecting the new organ. It will be distributed free of cost to patients at government hospitals.
The health department has allotted 44 lakh for the Government General Hospital to stock the tablets.
