Special security arrangements for Pongal season

A special security arrangement has been made in the omni buses in Chennai for the Pongal festival season. Officials will check the buses and ensure that no extra fares are collected, whether the passengers are treated properly, etc.
A video will be played in buses before its departure. This video will explain about the safety measures the public should keep in mind. These extra measures will be taken for 10 days. The transport commissioner, T Prabhakara Rao stated that their department will never leave a space for mishaps.
