Strong winds will continue in Chennai

Due to northwesterly winds, Chennai remained cool. Deputy director of regional meteorology at the Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai said, “Strong winds will continue in the daytime while it will awaken at night. This may continue for a few more days. But rainfall has remained isolated in the State and we are not expecting any major activity in the next few days.”
The weather report on Sunday evening said Nungambakkam and Meenambakkam experienced maximum temperatures of 30.5 degree Celsius and 29.9 degree Celsius, respectively, while the minimum temperatures were 22.2 and 21.2 degree Celsius, respectively.
