Petroleum minister’s indirect statement

During the recent press meet in Delhi, petroleum minister, M Veerappa Moilee indirectly stated that the central government is deeply concerned about the troubles faced by consumers due to exorbitant pricing of petroleum products.
Hence, they are planning to take serious steps to reduce their prices. There was a plan to hike the prices of diesel and kerosene. However, further to the great fall faced by the congress party in the recent election, the central government is stepping back from making such a hike in price.
