40 paise Cutback on One Litre Diesel- Bunks Announced for High Sale

With the increase in Diesel rates by Oil companies, private bunks have announced its cutback of 40 paise on one litre diesel, to increase the sale. In TamilNadu, Hindustan Petroleum, India Oil of Corporation, Barat Petroleum are the main dealers of petrol and diesel for private bunks. For the reason of, rate increase of Crude oil and fall in rupee value, the oil companies are raising the petrol and diesel rates monthly. Accounting this in the current year, from 18th of January to 1st of December, there cropped up 14 times of hike in diesel rate and shows a differences of about  7.02 rupees increase in the price. At present the rates of diesel in Chennai is 57.68 rupees, Salem is 57.71rupees and Kaniya kumari it is 57.79 rupees. The oil companies are providing a commission of Rs.1.06 for the petrol and diesel bunks.

In various districts which are famous for Motor Industries like Salem, Namakal and Karur, in addition to the private bunks, lorry and bus owners association also running bunks. In order to increase the sale and for the profit of the members of the association, the rate lessening is declared.

Salem districts lorry owner’s association has lessened 40 paise, Thiruchengodu lorry owners has lessened 50 paise, Sangagiri lorry owners has lessened 80 paise and Namakal Thaluk lorry owners has lessened 45 paise  in one liter of diesel. After this announcement, the sale of diesel have got increased in the diesel bunks. Considering this as a role model, the private bunks in the Salem and Namakal districts has started to cutback 40 paise per litre of diesel.
