IT companies should beef up security arrangements before 15th January

Chennai Police Commissioner S George convened a meeting with the representatives of software companies on Friday regarding precautionary safety measures.
Police issued a set of advisory
directives to the companies. Besides sending escorts in night drop vehicles,
police also asked the companies to get character certificates from the police for
the cab drivers and security guards. The companies must also install CCTV
cameras outside their premises. Representatives of over 120 companies attended
the meeting.
