Kamal to inaugurate 6th annual Bengaluru International Film Festival

The 6th annual Bengaluru International Film Festival will be inaugurated by Dr Kamal Haasan on 26th of December in Bangalore.
The eight-day Film Festival, being held in the city from December 26, will see participation of 152 films from 45 countries.
Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah will be also be present on the day of inauguration and has announced Rs.2crores for the event held in association with KFCC and KCA.
Fourteen films selected are from the main entries of the 86th Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film (Oscar). Main highlight is said to be the presentation of a bunch of highly-acclaimed Asian films from China, Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan, Phillippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Indonesia
