City police website ready

The chief minister will be re-launching the city police’s website [http://www.tnpolice.gov.in] which was obsolete since 2008. Now it has been revamped. A team led by joint commissioner of police (north Chennai traffic) A Arun recently completed the website’s revamp. It has a lot of interesting platforms to encourage interaction between police and the public.
Any city resident can register on the website and get alerts about important announcements. People can also track their complaints. The law-enforcers’ success in cracking serial murders and other serious offenses will be listed and photographs of unidentified and missing persons will also be on the website. There are plans to incorporate the police band music also.
