CMRL floats tenders for housekeeping

The Chennai Metro Rail Limited has floated tenders for housekeeping in five of its upcoming stations and for supplying furniture to one of its depots. The tender is for a three year contract with the work estimated at 13.0028 crore. The last day to submit tenders is December 27.
The stations for which housekeeping tenders have been floated are Koyambedu, CMBT, Arumbakkam, Vadapalani and Ashok Nagar. Metro rail in its newsletter in October announced that it had completed 90% of the tunnelling work between Nehru Park and Egmore Metro, and 64.7% of the other tunnel on the same route.
