Learn English easily and quickly

The British Council launched two products to help people learn English easily and quickly—English on Mobile and English Strokes, in the city recently.
CEO of British Council Martin Davidson said, “We look at India as a key place for us and also understand the requirements of the English learners in India.” He added that nearly 3,000 people are already using the first product that allows people to learn spoken English, from any phone.
The product is available at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, in addition to a separate module for job seekers. It allows users to practice English, interact with experts and give assessments.
Former swashbuckling batsman and Indian cricket team selector Kris Srikanth, who was also present, talked about English Strokes, the other product that was launched.
The product, an online course, brings together English and cricket to help one turn their love for cricket into proficiency with English. According to the organizers it will be an aid to help improve vocabulary, grammar, spoken English, pronunciation and listening skills.
The products have been launched in concordance with the companies Applied Mobile Labs and AA edutech.
