Electricity Consumer Grievance Redressal Meetings to Be Held Tomorrow in Chennai
The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced consumer grievance redressal meetings in Egmore, Avadi, and Perambur divisions on Friday, February 6, at 11:00 AM.
According to an official press release, the meetings aim to provide on-the-spot resolution for electricity-related issues faced by consumers.
Meeting Venues
Egmore Division Office – EVK Sampath Road, Egmore Substation Campus, Vepery
Avadi Division Office – Substation Campus, SM Nagar (near Murugappa Polytechnic), Avadi
Perambur Division Office – Substation Campus, MES Road, opposite Simpson
Purpose of the Meeting
- Consumers can directly raise issues related to:
- Power supply interruptions
- Electricity billing problems
- New service connections
- Meter faults and maintenance delays
TANGEDCO officials stated that the initiative is intended to improve transparency, accountability, and faster grievance resolution by enabling direct interaction between officials and electricity consumers.
Residents in and around Egmore, Avadi, and Perambur are encouraged to attend the meeting and get their electricity-related complaints addressed promptly.
