Tamil Nadu Plus Two Practical Exams to Begin from February 9: Guidelines Issued
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has released detailed guidelines for the Plus Two (Class 12) practical examinations, which will commence from Monday, February 9.
According to an official circular sent to all District Chief Educational Officers, the Tamil Nadu Plus Two public examinations will be held from March 2 to March 26. A total of 7,99,892 regular students and 26,441 private candidates are set to appear for the exams, which will be conducted across 4,221 examination centres statewide.
Practical Examination Schedule
Plus Two practical exams: February 9 to February 14
Plus One arrear students practical exams: February 16 to February 21
Key Guidelines Issued
- Special concessions may be extended only to differently-abled candidates.
- Such candidates may, based on their preference, be allowed to take objective-type theory-based tests in place of practical exams only for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Details of students who do not attend practical examinations must be properly recorded and submitted.
- External teachers from other schools must be appointed as chief practical examiners to ensure transparency.
- After completion of practical exams, school headmasters must submit mark statements along with required documents to the respective district examination office on or before February 23.
The examination department has instructed schools to strictly adhere to the guidelines to ensure smooth, fair, and timely conduct of the practical examinations.
