Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI) successfully wraps ADVAIT 7.0 in Chennai

Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI), one of India’s prominent and renowned apparel groups of manufacturers and traders have successfully wrapped ADVAIT 7.0. The 3-day Mega Zonal Fair, held at the RK Convention Centre, ECR, Chennai, saw attendance from over 1500 customers and channel partners across three days. 

The Mega Zonal Fair was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Nalli Kupuswami Chettiyar of Nalli Chinnasami Chetty, Chennai, M.R. Ramprassana from Mu. Ra. Sons Nagapattinam, Mr. Venugopal of Cotton House, Chennai and Mr. L Raveendran from S Nallaperumal & Sons, Nagercoil, along with key members of AMI. 

The latest edition of ADVAIT saw global dignitaries like Mr. Shiva, from Zuzi – Colombo, Sri Lanka, Mr. Augustin from Madagascar, Mr. Ramanan from Ajuntha Textiles - Klang and Kuala Lumpur (KL) in Malaysia, attend and grace the event. 

The Mega Zonal Fair saw bookings not only from Indian retailers and traders, but also from international traders and retailers from Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Mauritius, and Dubai. This continues to highlight how Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI) is working towards bridging the gap in the apparel market and bringing new opportunities for growth and scale. 

As online shopping and e-commerce models grow rapidly in India, Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI), is working diligently towards strengthening the offline retail market. This has helped significantly in contributing towards the economy, especially from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Over the past few years, SMEs and MSMEs from Tier 2 and Tier 3 are driving innovation, creating jobs and helping actively in the growth of the economy.
