In its official statement, the South Indian Artistes’ Association noted with pride that these three eminent artistes are members of the association and described them as distinguished representatives of the acting fraternity. The association stated that the awards honour not only the individuals but also the artistic legacy and cultural impact created through their lifelong dedication to cinema.

The association further observed that this recognition has brought immense pride and joy not only to the actor community but also to the entire Indian film industry. Acknowledging the decades-long service of Mammootty, Murali Mohan, and R.
