TNPSC Group 2 & Group 2A Preliminary Results Announced | Main Exam in Feb 2026
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially released the Group 2 and Group 2A Preliminary Examination results on December 22. Candidates who have qualified will appear for the Main Examination scheduled in February 2026.
The preliminary exam was conducted on September 28 across Tamil Nadu. Initially, 645 vacancies were notified, later increased to 1,270 posts, and subsequently revised to 828 vacancies at the time of result declaration.
Out of 5,53,631 applicants, 4,29,217 candidates appeared for the exam. Based on the results, 1,126 candidates have qualified for Group 2 posts, while 9,457 candidates have been shortlisted for Group 2A posts.
