Cyclone Ditwah Weakens Near Chennai; Red Alert Issued for Thiruvallur, Multiple Districts on High Alert
The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has issued fresh warnings as Cyclone Ditwah has further weakened into a Low-Pressure Area near the Chennai coast. With the system now centred just 40 km southeast of Chennai and around 25 km off the Tamil Nadu - Puducherry coastline, the city and surrounding districts have been experiencing heavy rainfall for the past 24 hours.
