Kanchipuram District to Deliver Essential Goods to Elderly and Disabled Under Thayumanavar Scheme on Dec 2 & 3

The Tamil Nadu Government has directed that under the Thaayumaanavar Scheme, essential commodities must be delivered directly to the homes of senior citizens (65+) and persons with disabilities on all scheduled Saturdays and Mondays every month.
In line with this, the Cooperative Food and Consumer Protection Department is distributing monthly essential supplies to eligible ration card holders in Kanchipuram district.
According to the District Collector’s press note, home delivery of essential items under the Thaayumaanavar Scheme will be carried out on December 2 and 3, ensuring door-step support for elderly beneficiaries and people with disabilities.
