The price of gold, which has been fluctuating significantly in recent days, has once again recorded a sharp decline today, Tuesday, 18 November 2025. After reaching record highs and causing confusion among buyers, prices fell yesterday, the first day of the week, by ₹10 per gram to ₹11,540 per gram, and by ₹80 per sovereign to ₹92,320 per sovereign.
Today, for the second consecutive day, gold prices have dropped further.
The price of gold has decreased by ₹140 per gram, bringing the rate down to ₹11,400 per gram, while the price of a sovereign has fallen by ₹1,120, now selling at ₹91,200 per sovereign.
Silver Price Also Drops
The price of silver has also decreased today.
Silver has dropped by ₹3 per gram, and is currently priced at:
- ₹170 per gram
- ₹3,000 per kilogram
