A new step to ensure nominal bus fares

The transport department has freed the public from getting scared of exorbitant rates in omni buses during this festival season. They have set up exclusive booths at 3 varied locations across the city.
This is done in order to check if appropriate charges are being demanded from the travelers. It is to be noted that this is the very first time that the transport department has taken such a measure. These booths are set up at Egmore railway station, Koyambedu omni bus terminal and at Perungulathur.
