Heavy security deployed in Sri Lankan institutions in Chennai

Sri Lankan Deputy High Commission office, the Mahabodhi Society and Bank of Ceylon are located in Chennai. Now there is heavy security in these places because of an attack on two Indian Post Offices on Tuesday, The Hindu reported.Police said armed security personnel were deployed to guard vital installations, particularly those connected to Sri Lanka. Tuesday’s attack is alleged to be the handiwork of a Tamil organization that is opposed to India’s participation in next month’s Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) being held in Colombo.
