Special Train Between Villupuram and Tiruvannamalai for Pournami Girivalam on Nov 4
In view of the upcoming Pournami Girivalam festival, the Southern Railway has announced a special unreserved train service between Villupuram and Tiruvannamalai on November 4, 2025 to help devotees reach the temple town conveniently.
The Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai attracts a huge number of devotees during the full moon (Pournami) Girivalam every month. To ease the crowd and provide additional travel options, Southern Railway has arranged this one-day special service.
According to the announcement, the special train will depart from Villupuram at 10:10 AM and arrive at Tiruvannamalai at 11:45 AM. On the return journey, it will depart Tiruvannamalai at 12:40 PM and reach Villupuram at 2:15 PM.
This eight-coach unreserved train will stop at Venkatesapuram, Mambalapattu, Ayandur, Tirukovilur, Adichanur, Andampallam, and Tandarai railway stations.
