35, 107 autos have recalibrated their meters in Chennai

Out of 71,470 auto rickshaw drivers in Chennai 35, 107 auto rickshaws have recalibrated their meters. November 15 is the deadline to recalibrate the auto meters.
According to a State Transport Authorities statement published on Thursday, 63,311 autos (88%) have the new fare cards.
Close to 2,700 autos have been detained and the department has handled 520 complaints so far. Besides the STA, the traffic police also have renewed their drive against the erring auto drivers.
