Agri Business Festival 2025 Begins in Chennai Today
The Agri Business Festival 2025 is being held at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, on September 27 and 28. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate the event today and is expected to announce several welfare schemes for farmers.
This is the 2nd edition of the Agribusiness Festival, which aims to expand local and export opportunities through advanced technologies, value addition, and processing of agricultural and horticultural products. The event will feature seminars, discussions, and producer–trader meetings, benefiting farmers, farmer-producer organizations, students, exporters, food processing industries, and the general public.
Special arrangements have been made by the Government of Tamil Nadu to host the festival in a grand manner. Departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing and Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Sugar, Seed Certification and Organic Certification, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Aavin, Food Processing, Sericulture, and various cooperative societies, along with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and Central Government research institutes, will actively participate.
Leading agribusiness entrepreneurs, technical experts, exporters, and senior officials will share their insights during the seminars.
Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam has invited farmers, students, traders, exporters, and the public to take part in large numbers and benefit from the Agribusiness Festival 2025.
