On the website belonging to the Department of Examinations, the admit card for Tamil language literacy aptitude test has been published now.
The Department of Education has sent a circular in this regard to all the district primary education officers.
It was mentioned in the circular that from the year 2022 onwards Tamil language literacy test is being conducted for the students studying in plus one in all government recognised schools in the state of TN. This included even Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education or ICSE students also. As many as 1500 students would be selected in the test and the selected students would be provided with a stipend of Rs 1500 for 2 years. Information is that out of these 50% would be government school students and the remaining 50% would be both government and private school students.
On 11th October 2025, the aptitude test would take place. It is known that from 21st August to 4th September online registrations were conducted. On Thursday, 25th September, the attendance sheet and admit cards along with the name list of students who have applied for this aptitude test was published on the Department of Examinations website. These must be downloaded by the examination centre invigilators and school principals without fail
It was also mentioned that the head teachers must sign and stamp the schools admit card for the students. The details regarding the exam centres must be clearly communicated to the students. Any error must be corrected using red ink and the school head teacher should attest it. Finally, it was mentioned that this information must be communicated to all school head teachers. The district primary education officers must take appropriate measures.
