A grand ceremony in Chennai to celebrate Tamil Nadus achievement in Education!!

To celebrate the state of Tamil Nadu`s achievement in education, a grand ceremony would be held in Chennai on 25th September. The chief minister of Telangana Mr. Revanth Reddy would take part in this ceremony.

On Monday at the Secretariat in Chennai, additional chief secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management department P. Amudha spoke to the press reporters. She mentioned in the press conference about the grand function that has been organised on 25th September at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai to celebrate Tamil Nadu`s achievement in education. Point is that the ceremony that would take place from 4:30pm to 7pm would have presentations on the 7 important schemes of the TN government. Those beneficiaries who have benefited from the govt schemes would be taking part in the ceremony and share their experiences. She concluded that the Telangana CM Mr. Revanth Reddy would also participate in the ceremony.

It is worthy to mention here that among the 7 major schemes of the TN government 1bout 14.6lak people have benefited from Naan Mudhalvan scheme, 41lakh people have received training in various fields and received certificates. As many as 20.59 lakhs students from 37416 schools are benefiting from the Mudhalvar Breakfast scheme. Under the Pudhumai Penn scheme, 5.29 lakh college students have been receiving Rs 1000 per month. About 3.92 lakh students have been receiving Rs 1000 per month under the Tamil Pudhalvan scheme.

Just like the education sector, huge importance is also given to the sports sector in TN. An amount of Rs 548 cr has been spent on sports infrastructure alone. It is learnt that all the work that has been done for the education and sports sector would be showcased at the ceremony on 25th of September. Others who made their presence felt at the time of press conference were Mr. P. Chandramohan, principal secretary school education department and Mrs. Jayashree Muralitharan, secretary, social welfare and women`s right department.
