Indian President visit to Tamil Nadu in September first week - Convocation in CUTN & Srirangam temple visit etc!!
The tenth Convocation ceremony of Tamil Nadu Central University at Neelakudi in Thiruvarur district would be held on 3rd September 2025. The President of India Draupadi Murmu would participate in the ceremony and award degrees to the successful students. Later, she would visit the famous Srirangam temple to offer her prayers.
On 2nd September Draupadi Murmu would come to TN and would stay at Raj Bhavan in Chennai. On 3rd September, President would arrive at Trichy airport from Chennai airport through a special flight and from Trichy airport she would go to the Thiruvarur Central University by helicopter.
It must be taken into note that after the convocation ceremony the President would reach Srirangam through a helipad and visit the temple by car. Ahead of the Indian President`s visit, the police department has made arrangements in Trichy and Thiruvarur areas.

Established in the year 2009, Central University of TN or CUTN is located in Thiruvarur in south Tamil Nadu. There are now 2000 students studying courses in 27 departments. In the year 2022, CUTN was ranked 51 to 100 range among universities across India.
