Great news for the Chennaites!! Diagnosing the disease would done in a better way from now on at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai!!

It is worthy to note that a state of art cath lab has been launched at the famous Apollo Hospitals in Teynampet in Chennai now. Various features associated with the cath lab are high resolution 3D imaging, advanced stent motion visualisation, neuro-protection with extensive safety features, low level radiation technology etc. Tamil development and information and publicity minister Mr. Swaminathan grabbed the attention when he opened this cath lab at Apollo Hospitals.

For special treatments, this cath lab would be used in the Apollo Hospitals in Teynampet. The superb piece of information is that complex life saving medical procedures could be carried out without the need of open surgery. It is known that open surgery would involve making incisions on specific parts of the body.  It is learnt that with the help of the cath lab treatments related to heart, cancer and nerves etc would be carried out in a more accurate and fast manner. This would ensure safety of the patients.

It was later explained by Dr. Harshad Reddy, director of cancer and international division, Apollo Hospitals the launch of cath lab was a milestone in the journey of Apollo Hospitals in providing cutting edge precision medical care based on the advanced technology.

It must be noted that this state of art cath lab would provide the doctors with enhanced capabilities. The doctors would be able to diagnose the disease in a better manner from now on. It is believed that the doctors would be able to respond to the emergencies faster. Patients in neurology, oncology and cardiology departments would be treated with safety and precision.

Finally, with this state of art cath lab the patients would be able to recover faster, undergo minimally invasive surgeries and get positive outcomes.
