From 25th August, small scale art festival competitions in TN Schools - Education Dept!!
From 25th of August 2025, a small-scale art festival would be held in the Tamil Nadu government schools. This was according to the school education department.
It is worthy to note that art festival competitions are held annually across TN for the benefit of the school students studying in the govt and govt aided schools across the state. It must be taken into note that certificates and prizes are given to the winners of these competitions.
Since 4th of August, the current academic years (or 2025-26) art festival competitions have been going on. It is now brought out that small scale art festival competitions would be held from 25th to 29th August for the students belonging to the classes 1 to 5.
Point to be noted is that only those students who have come first in the school level competitions would be allowed to take part in the kuruvala poetti or next level competition. The students must be taken to the net level competitions in a safe manner and then brought back to the schools. It is necessary that those students who want to take part in the next level competition must get an approval letter from their parents.
