Get your names registered in the voters list

People residing in Tamilnadu now have the opportunity to get their names registered in the voters list by making their registration from October 1st 2013 to October 31st 2013. Also you can modify / delete the names from the electoral list by applying with necessary application forms.
The Election Commission of India has issued an order to revise the electoral rolls form and start the new registration for getting new voter id in the month of October. The candidate who complete the age of 18 years as on January 1st 2014 are eligible to apply for a new voter id. Also the existing candidates who want to modify / delete names can also submit their applications. The revised voters list will then be declared on January 6th 2013. There are 728 polling booths where the candidates can submit their application forms in their respective polling booth.
There will be special camps that will be held on October 6th, 20th and 27th 2013. The people of Tamilnadu can make their registration throughout the month of October between 09.30 AM and 05.30 PM. The polling booth officers are given special training for making the people get registered in the booths.
