15 hours wait for the devotees of Lord Balaji in Tirupati yesterday!!
Many devotees visit the famous temple at Tirumala to get the blessings of Lord Venkateswara is known to us. The news now is that the devotees in the dharma darisanam queue waited for 15 long hours to get darshan or darisanam of Lord Balaji at the temple. This has grabbed attention now.
It was brought out that on Friday 31 vaikunta waiting rooms were full of devotees and the devotees stood in the queue to get darshan of Lord Balaji.
It took 15 hours for the devotees in the free dharma darisanam queue or token-less queue and 3 to 4 hours for the devotees in Rs 300 fast darisanam queue to get darisanam of the Lord.
Until afternoon 2pm, kids below the age of 12, parents etc were allowed to use Alibiri walkway and devotees were allowed to use this until 10pm in the evening.
On Thursday, as many as 65234 devotees had darisanam at the temple and as many as 25133 devotees offered their hair as offerings to Lord Balaji. An amount of Rs 3.80 cr has been collected from the hundial through offerings from the devotees.
