Heavy rainfall to occur because of upper air cyclonic circulation

There is a possibility of heavy rains in parts of Tamil Nadu in the coming days. The Met department is likely to declare the onset of Northeast Monsoon in the next 48 hours after monitoring the weather conditions.
Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai said, An upper air cyclonic circulation has developed over the southeast Bay of Bengal and neighborhood, which may develop into a low pressure area over the southwest Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours and cause increase in rainfall activity over the southern parts of Peninsula, especially over Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
