First round counselling date for MBBS/BDS admissions extended in TN!!
Important news for the MBBS/BDS aspirants in TN!!
The news that has emerged out now is that the deadline for selecting colleges in the first round of counselling for MBBS/BDS has been extended up to Wednesday 6th of August 2025.
The Directorate of Medical Education has issued this notification following the extension of counselling for All India Quota.
It must be taken into note that on 30th July the first round of counselling for the government and private colleges management quota MBBS/BDS seats in TN started on the website https://tnmedical, https://selection.ne
It must be noted that 4th of August till 5pm was the previous deadline for the aspirants to register online and to select colleges. The deadline has been extended now till 11am on Wednesday 6th August. Seats would be allotted on 7th August and final list would be published on 8th August. From 8th August to 13th August, the students could download the allotment order in the colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Note:
Action would be taken against the medical college administration if it charges more fees than the fees fixed by the TN government. This was as per Directorate of Medical Education.
