Flyover construction from Saidapettai to Teynampettai to get completed in December!!
On Thursday, 24th July, the PWD minister Mr. E.V. Velu inspected the flyover construction work that has been going on from Saidapet to Teynampet. This work would get completed in December. This was brought out by some officials.
It was mentioned in the news release from the TN government that to reduce traffic congestion a plan has been made to construct a flyover or elevated bridge from Saidapet to Teynampet on Anna Salai in Chennai. This work was inaugurated by the CM Mr. M.K Stalin in January at a cost of Rs 621 cr. About 30% of the work has been completed till now. The minister Mr. E.V. Velu ordered the officials to complete the ongoing work and works in other places etc as soon as possible before the upcoming rainy season. In this scenario, it was said that the ongoing flyover work from Saidai to Teynampet would be completed by December.
Other important persons who were present during inspection were Mr. I. Selvaraj, secretary of Highways and Minor Ports Department, special technical officer Mr. I. Chandrasekar and Mr. Sathya Prakash, chief engineer etc.
