Rank list for B. Arch course released by DOTE now!!
On Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, the Directorate of Technical Education or DOTE released the rank list for B. Arch degree courses in engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu. It has been announced that the counselling for this course would take place from 26th July to 9th August.
Under Anna University or AU, there are as many as 38 colleges in TN offering Architecture & Planning courses for the eligible and interested students. The application process began on 11th July and it was completed on 14th July. As many as 288 student applications have been rejected and a rank list of 1399 students have been released on 22nd July 2025.
It is learnt that the students belonging to Backward Classes or BC or pirpadu thapattor (Muslim) category and the Backward Classes (General) Category have secured first and second ranks. They have scored 335.6 and 334.4 respectively. It must be taken into note that the last in the rank list is a student who has secured 1399th with 154 marks.
Under the 7.5% TN government school study category, as many as117 students have been selected and ranked in the list. All of these students except for a few students belonging to general category have been placed in the reservation list.
Information collected is that 11 students from Ex-servicemen and 4 from the differently able were also included in the list. The DOTE has mentioned that if there are any shortcoming in the rank list the students can apply by 25th July and counselling would be held from 26th July to 9th August.
