TNPSC Releases Proposed Answer Key for Group 4 Examination; Objections Invited Until July 28
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the proposed answer key for the recently concluded Group 4 examination, conducted to fill 3,935 vacancies across various departments. These include posts such as Village Administrative Officers, Junior Assistants, Typists, Shorthand Typists, Assistants, Forest Guards, and Forest Watchers.
The official notification for these vacancies was issued on April 25, with the application window closing on May 24. A total of 13,89,743 candidates applied for the examination. Of these, 13,69,738 applications were accepted, while 5 were rejected. Admit cards for eligible candidates were made available on the Election Commission website.
According to TNPSC Chairman S.K. Prabhakar, 11,48,019 candidates appeared for the examination, marking an 82.61% turnout.
TNPSC has now released the tentative answer key for candidates to review. If there are any discrepancies or objections, candidates are encouraged to submit their representations through the official TNPSC website at www.tnpsc.gov.in before 5:45 PM on July 28. The Commission has clarified that objections sent via post or email will not be accepted.
After reviewing the objections, the final answer key will be published. The results of the Group 4 examination are expected to be announced within the next three months.
