Direct counselling to take place in Chennai for those selected for 2342 vacant secondary teaching posts!!
From 14th to 18 July2025, for those selected for 2342 vacant secondary teaching posts, a direct counselling would be held in Chennai. In this aspect, a circular has been sent to all District Education officers by the Directorate of Elementary Education.
It was brought to light by Teachers Recruitment Board notification that a list of 2342 candidates has been received based on the marks conducted by TRB and on caste rotation basis.
Through direct consultation at the level of Joint Director of Primary Education in Chennai, appointment orders would be issued to these candidates to select their place of employment. It is learnt that a list of names with home addresses of the selected candidates have been sent to all DEOs.
In the two famous schools in Chennai namely MCC School in Chetpet and CSI Bains School in Kilpauk, the direct counselling for reservation of seats for those selected for the posts of secondary teachers would be held from 14th to 18th July 2025. The TN chief minister would directly issue the appointment orders at the function that would be held at Nehru Indoor Stadium on 23rd July.
