Special trains to ease the extra rush

Southern Railways in a move that will considerably ease the extra rush of passengers, including those from Kerala, during the Christmas recess, Railways have introduced an A/C Superfast Special train between Mangalore and Ahmadabad. Train No.09420 Ahmadabad-Mangalore Junction A/C Superfast Special will run on all Wednesdays from December 4 to January 15.
The train that leaves Ahmadabad at 4.35 p.m. on Wednesdays will reach Mangalore Junction (formerly Kankanady) at 7.05 p.m. on Thursdays. In its return journey, train No. 09419 Mangalore Junction-Ahmadabad A/C Express will leave Mangalore Junction on all Thursdays from December 5 to January 16. The train will leave Mangalore Junction at 10.30 p.m. to reach Ahmadabad at 11.15 p.m. on Fridays.
