Deadline extended for application registrations for MBBS/BDS courses in TN now!!
The last date for application registrations for MBBS and BDS courses in Tamil Nadu has been extended by 4 days now. This was announced by the medical admission committee.
It was already mentioned by the TN health minister Mr. M. Subramanian that in this year the application registrations would begin even before the NEET results are announced.
From 6th June, the application registration began in TN for admission into MBBS/BDS courses. In TN, there are 36 medical colleges. In K.K. Nagar ESI Medical College alone has 5200 MBBS seats present out of which 888 seats are available for All India quota.
Medical counselling would be held for 9200 MBBS seats present in the govt and private medical colleges and in the private medical universities and self financing colleges etc. For the BDS courses, admissions would soon begin for 11350 medical seats in private and government medical colleges in TN.
It was informed that registration of applications could be carried out through website www.tnmedicalselection.org. Based on NEET exam scores, student admission is carried out is known. The medical aspirants have been showing huge enthusiasm now in applying.
The superb piece of information is that till now as many as 69500 applications have been received. This was according to the Medical Admission Committee operating under the Dept of Medicine and Public Welfare. Earlier, the last date for registering applications was on 25th of June. Now, the date has been extended and the last day would be till 5pm on 29th of June 2025.
