Tomorrow is the last day for applying to MBBS/BDS courses in Tamil Nadu!!
There is some important news for the students who are interested to study MBBS and BDS courses etc across Tamil Nadu.
The deadline for applying to these courses would come to an end tomorrow on 25th June 2025.
In the 36 government medical colleges across Tamil Nadu, there are 5200 seats available. Through All India Quota, as many as 888 seats are offered. It is noteworthy that apart from these there are as many as 3450 seats in the self-financing colleges and 550 seats in the private medical universities for MBBS courses. Information is that a total of 9200 MBBS seats are being offered in the govt and private colleges. Under the 7.5percent quota, 496 seats are being offered to the govt school students.
There are 250 seats in govt medical colleges and 1900 seats in private colleges for BDS courses. Of these, 126 seats are reserved for the govt school students. For 11350 medical seats, a student recruitment drive would be held this year.
On 6th June 2025, online application registration began and it was mentioned that the applications could be registered through the website www.tnmedicalselection.org.
Till now, more than 60000 aspirants have applied for administrative quota and government quota seats. It is now mentioned that the deadline for online applications would end on 25th June at 5pm. It is worth mentioning that the Directorate of Medical Education and Research has asked NEET candidates to quickly register their applications.
