Counselling for general category students in the govt arts & sciences colleges in TN begins TODAY!!
These days, many students have huge passion and interest to study arts and sciences courses as there are more job opportunities available for them.
From today, the counselling for the general category students in the govt arts and sciences colleges begins in Tamil Nadu.
It must be taken into account that online application registrations for admission to the UG courses in the arts and sciences colleges in Tamil Nadu began on 7th of May and it went on till 27th of May.
Important piece of information is that 184762 students have completed their online application registrations by paying the application fees. On 29th of May, the rank list for special category was published and on 30th of May the rank list for general category was published.
On the website of the Directorate of Collegiate Education, the rank lists were published and then the rank lists were pasted on the notice boards belonging to the arts and sciences colleges.
The Directorate of College Education has mentioned that the counselling for selecting the preferred course would be held on 2nd and 3rd June 2025 for special category students and from 4th to 14th June 2025 for general category students,
In this scenario, the first phase of counselling for the students belonging to special category in all the govt arts and sciences colleges in Tamil Nadu began on 2nd June and ended yesterday, 3rd June.
Now the counselling for general category students would begin today and would go on till 14th of June. It is worth mentioning that the first phase of applications registrations has been completed and the second phase of application registrations is underway. On 30th June, the classes for the first year students would start.
