Online System Launched for Billboard License in Chennai

The Greater Chennai Corporation has launched an online application system for obtaining licenses to erect billboards within the city limits.
According to an official press release, from May 21, all applications for billboard erection must be submitted exclusively through the Corporation`s official website: https://chennaicorporation.gov.in.
The move aims to ensure transparency, centralized service, and efficient processing. Applications will be reviewed by a Single Window Committee, which convenes once a month. Upon approval, applicants will be notified and must pay the license fee online to receive final clearance.
