From Today onwards online registrations for applications for veterinary courses to begin in TN
From today, 26th of May 2025 online registrations for applications would begin across Tamil Nadu for veterinary courses.
It is worth mentioning here that veterinary medical colleges are functioning in 7 places like Chennai, Namakkal, Tirunelveli, Orathanadu, Salem Thalaivasal, Udumalpet and Theni Veerapandi under the Tamil Nadu Veterinary Medicine University. In these colleges for 5 and half years of study of veterinary medicine and maintenance B. V. Sc (AH) course has as many as 660 seats available.
It is noteworthy that for the Food and Dairy Engineering College at Tiruvallur based Koduveli there are 40 seats available for B. Tech course in Food Technology and 20 seats for B. Tech course in Dairy Technology. Likewise there are 30 seats available for the B. Tech course in Poultry Engineering at Hosur based Mathigiri College of Poultry Production and Management. All these B. Tech courses involve 4 years of study.
Today, 26th May 2025, online registrations for application to these B.V. Sc (AH) course and B. Tech courses start at 10am. The eligible and interested students can register through the website https://adm.tanuvas.ac.in/.The last date for applying is 5pm on 20th June.
Note:
Those Indians who are residing abroad, heirs of Indians residing abroad, those who have got financial support from abroad residing Indians and foreigners etc could know details regarding availability of seats, online registrations procedures plus other important details etc through online.
Method of selection:
It is learnt that based on the marks obtained by the students in plus two examinations the selection or admissions would be carried out.
About 7.5% seats have been reserved for the students who have studied in the government schools in Tamil Nadu.
