Despite many steps taken by the police dept the robberies take place even now across Chennai. This has caused a huge concern for both the residents and police department.
The Chennai police department organised a robbery prevention drill yesterday. The drill showcased about surrounding and arresting the criminal if he or she is armed with weapons or the criminal escapes after committing a robbery.
Chennai Police Commissioner Mr. Arun has been taking many measures to prevent robbery, theft, murder etc in Chennai is known to us. The crimes have come down now. Just a couple of days back, Mr. Arun took part in a meeting with other police personnel to completely prevent crimes from taking place in Chennai. He even suggested the police dept to organise a robbery prevention drill in the city.
Yesterday, the Chennai police dept conducted a robbery prevention drill and vehicle checks at 19 places in Chennai east zone like Kilpauk, Triplicane, Mylapore police districts etc.
