Seven Chennai schools participates in the CBSE national science exhibition

Students from PSBB Senior Secondary School (K K Nagar), Bala Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Devi Academy Senior Secondary School, Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Smt Ramkuwar Devi Fomra Vivekananda Vidyalaya and Jawahar Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School participated in the CBSE national science exhibition that was inaugurated in Delhi on Friday.
The three-day exhibition with the theme `Science and Society` is a platform for 262 schools, 524 students and 262 teachers from different parts of the country and abroad to showcase their innovations.
The exhibition will include sub-themes such as industry, natural resources and their conservation to community health and environment and mathematical modeling.
From the exhibits, 20 top displays will be forwarded to the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), which will select the best entries to be displayed at the Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition to be held in Sikkim in November. The best 20 displays will also receive a merit certificate and cash award of Rs 3,000.
